Statement of Faith
The Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is the complete Word of God: that the sixty-six books, as originally written, comprising the Old and New Testaments, were fully inspired by the Spirit of God, and that they are, therefore, entirely free from error; that the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice and the true basis of Christian union.
We believe that the bible has been supernaturally preserved by God. We believe that the King James Bible (A.V. 1611) is the preserved Word of God for the English-speaking world so that we can fully trust that we have the very Word of God.Luke 4:4; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Isaiah 40:8; Matt. 24:35; Psalm 12:6-7

The True God
We believe there is one and only one true God and that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; that they are equal and execute distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. Exodus 20:2-3; 1 Cor. 8:6; Genesis 17:1; 2 Cor. 3:17
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the eternal existence of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that in the eternal past He “was with God” (John 1:1), indeed He “was God.” He is God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles and His teachings. He is the God-man, possessing all the essential qualities of both the human and the divine nature. “For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” (Col. 2:9) We believe in His substitutionary, atoning death for the sins of all people, His bodily resurrection, His ascension into Heaven, His perpetual intercession for the believers, and His personal, visible return to earth. John 1:1-2; John 1:14; Romans 3:24-25; 1 Peter 2:21-24; 1 John 2:1-2; Col. 2:9
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the triune God who convicts the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgement; that He regenerates, indwells, baptizes into Christ and seals all who become children of God through Christ; that He empowers, teaches, sanctifies and fills believers daily as they surrender to Him. John 15:8-11; John 14:16-17; Romans 8:9; 1 Cor. 12:13; Eph. 1:13; Acts 1:8; John 14:26; 2 Cor. 3:18; Eph. 5:18
The Devil or Satan
We believe in the personality of Satan; that he is the unholy god of this age and is destined for eternal punishment in the lake of fire. 2 Cor. 4:4; Rev. 20:10
Creation
We believe the Genesis account of creation as being neither allegory nor myth, but a literal account of the direct creative acts of God. No evolution was employed. All men are descendants of the historical Adam and Eve. Genesis 1:1-2:25 ; John 1:3
Fall of Man
We believe man was created in innocence and that by voluntary choice, Adam transgressed God’s law, and all men sinned in him therefore all men are totally depraved being sinners by nature and by conduct. Genesis 3:1-6; Romans 3:10-23; Romans 5:2-19
Righteous and Wicked
We believe only those who are justified by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ are righteous in the sight of God. Those who continue in unbelief are, in God’s sight, wicked and under the curse and face everlasting, conscious suffering. Malachi 3:18; Romans 6:17-18; Proverbs 14:32
Heaven and Hell
We believe in Heaven. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has gone to prepare a place for the believers and that He will one day take them to be with Him forever. We believe that He has rewards waiting for those who have served Him faithfully. We are convinced of the eternal security of every believer, regenerated by the Spirit of God. We believe in Hell. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all persons who ever lived, the saved to eternal life and happiness, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting, conscious punishment. Matt. 25:31-36; John 5:23-29; John 11:25-26; John 14:2-3; 1 Thess. 4:16-17; Rev. 20:11-15; Luke 16: 19-31
Salvation by Grace through Faith
We believe that our salvation is a free gift from God, not merited in any way, therefore is wholly by grace. Salvation is received by the placing of one’s faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Eph. 2:8-9; Heb. 11:6
Remission
We believe that remission (forgiveness) of sins in only received through and because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 9:22; 1 John 1:7
Repentance
We believe that repentance is a change of mind and purpose from sin toward God; that it is characterized by godly sorrow for sin that separates man from God, and that true repentance is inseparably related to true faith. Acts 20:21; 2 Cor. 7:10; Luke 13:3,5
The Security of the Saints
We believe that those who are truly saved are kept by the power of God, and sealed by the Spirit of God, therefore making it impossible to be lost once saved. 1 Peter 1:5; Romans 8:35-39; Eph. 1:13
The Priesthood of Believers
We believe that through Jesus Christ every believer has direct access into God’s presence without the need of a human priest; that every believer has the right and responsibility to study the scriptures guided by the Holy Sprit. Hebrews 4:16; 2 Tim. 2:15; 1 Peter 2:9
The Local Church
We believe that a local church is an organized assembly of saved, baptized believers meeting for worship, prayer, fellowship, teaching, to practice the ordinances and to carry out the Great Commission; that this assembly is independent and free to govern itself without ecclesiastical interference; that this assembly is accountable directly to God. We believe that its two offices are pastor, sometimes called bishop or elder and, deacon. Matt. 28:19-20; 1 Cor. 11:2; Acts 2:41-42; Matt. 18:15-17; Acts 15:1-41; 1 Tim. 3:1-15
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe that only two ordinances were given to the church — baptism and the Lord’s supper; that Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water under the authority of a local church, portraying the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we died to sin and rose to a new life; that Christian baptism is a prerequisite to church membership. We believe that the Lord’s supper is a continuing memorial to the broken body and shed blood of Christ observed by the local church and should be preceded by solemn self-examination. Matt. 28:19-20; Romans 6:3-5; Col. 2:12; Acts 2:41-42; Matt. 26:25-30; 1 Cor. 11:23-24
Separation
We believe that obedience to the bible requires a separatist position for both the church and its members. We must separate entirely from worldliness and ecclesiastic apostasy. 2 Cor. 6:14; 7:1; 1 Thess. 1:9; 1 Tim. 6:3-5; Romans 16:17; 2 John 1:9-11; 1 Peter 1:16
Civil Government
We believe that civil government is of divine appointment for the interest and good order of human society; that magistrates are to be prayed for, and obeyed, except in things opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ; that the church and state are to be separate, each having definite and distinct spheres of responsibility. Romans 13:1-7; 2 Sam. 23:3; Exodus 18:21-22; Matt. 22:21; Acts 5:29; Acts 4:19-20; Daniel 3:17-18
Rapture and Subsequent Events
We believe in the imminent, pre-millennial return of Christ for His Church, and that at that moment the dead in Christ shall be raised in glorified bodies, and the living in Christ shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the air before the seventieth week of Daniel. 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 1 Cor. 15:42-44; 51-54; Phil. 3:20-21; Rev. 20:1-6
Charismatic Movement
We believe the current charismatic movement is not a scriptural movement. The charismatic movement is a counterfeit of God’s power for soulwinning. Mark 16:15-20; 1 Cor. 13:8; 14:21-22; Romans 1:16; Acts 1:8
